Department of Physics

Come and study Physics at our Department

We, at the Physics Department, are eager to receive international students (and researchers as well). Both free movers and eXchange students are welcome to attend our physics courses or carry out a laboratory research training.

Find out about our Physics courses taught partly (Bachelor's in Physics and in Physics, Chemistry) or entirely (international Master's programmes) in English: our Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes offer multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary trainings in physics (on both experimental and theoretical backgrounds).

Contact the International mobility programme coordinator at the Physics Department for detail (content, etc.).

International students are also welcome to attend our programs in French. A minimum B2-level is usually required.
Opportunity to attend French language courses for foreigners is also given, depending on your time schedule.

Note that our Bachelor's degree programmes run in three years (Semester 1 to 6).

Our semesters are running from September to January (fall/odd semester) then from February to June (spring/even semester).

If you are not  from a partner university write an email to the International mobility coordinator for physics to check whether a cooperation agreement can be established: stephane.bailleuxuniv-lillefr / Tél.: +33 32043 4383

International students desirous of attending our courses and/or carrying out a research training in one of our many laboratories within an eXchange programme should contact her/his local International mobility coordinator to apply (please note the deadline for submitting your application). Visit our page (in French) to consult the list of agreements with Lille University.
After applying she/he will receive administrative support (accomodation, etc.) from our side. If application is successful International mobility coordinators  from the two Institutions will establish the Learning agreement. (5 weeks after arrivals are allowed to make change to the Learning agreement.)

Have a look at our photos and videos gallery to discover our up-to-date equipment hosted in the labs and in the teaching Department
